The OPSEU Region 2 educational package is out for October 16/17.
For those who are unfamiliar…
The OPSEU Region 2 Educational committee runs educational weekends three times a year. Any OPSEU member may go, full-time or part-time.
There are six courses to pick from. They change each weekend throughout the year.
Your mileage, meals and hotel room are reimbursed through OPSEU Region 2. Childcare is provided or an allowance for a home babysitter is.
I recommend Stewards 1 for newer members.
If you’re interested in attending or have any questions let me know.
I can also help you with the paperwork to apply.

The attendance forms with the courses being offered are not out yet. I will e-mail them when they are released.
Any OPSEU member is welcome to take a course on these weekends. You will be compensated for your mileage, hotel room, meals etc.

OPSEU Resource Centre is a one-stop information centre for members. The centre is staffed during regular office hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
OPSEU Resource Centre operators are trained to answer questions on a wide variety of labour topics and emergencies, and know how to contact OPSEU staff, if necessary. They also have access to OPSEU membership databases and collective agreements.
